Absent Air is a collation of images that reflect on the nature of ones environnent, inter threading form with human presence to create an atmosphere that acknowledges the frailty of this nature and the contradiction of photography in documenting reality. Following No Silver Bird, Absent Air acts as a continuation, in dialogue with his first book, whilst also addressing new ideas through the image as language.
